Biographical information?

Yes
Even those among us who are not art aficionados may recognize the name of this amazing artist whose masterpieces in glass can be found at the Bellagio in Las Vegas, the Atlantis in the Bahamas, the Oklahoma City Museum of Art and many other national and international venues. Thousands flocked to see Dale Chihully's 2002 exhibition at Chicago's Garfield Park Conservatory. These installations confirm the artist's sensitivity to architectural context and his interest in the interplay of natural light on the glass that exploits its translucency and transparency. From the beginning of his involvement with glass in the 1960s, Dale Chihuly has championed the use of blown glass as a vehicle for sculpture, focusing on the vessel in his explorations of color and form.
